As an essential service, we are committed to providing quality and compassionate veterinary care while also keeping the health and safety of our clients and staff a priority during the COVID-19 pandemic. When Forgotten Coast Animal Hospital opens later in the fall of 2020, we will have curbside check-in for our clients to allow for social distancing and ensure the waiting room does not get too crowded.
- For appointments: When you arrive at our office for your appointment, please remain in your vehicle and call our front desk to check in. One of our staff members will be out as soon as possible to escort you and your pet inside directly to an exam room. We are allowing only one person per patient into the hospital at this time. If you choose, you may have a completely curbside visit and remain in your vehicle during your pet’s appointment. Our doctor will communicate with you by phone during the appointment.
- For surgery drop-off and drop-off appointments: When you arrive at our office to drop off your pet, please remain in your vehicle and call our front desk to check in. One of our staff members will be out as soon as possible to escort your pet into the hospital. Our doctor will communicate with you throughout the day by phone regarding your pet’s surgery or drop-off visit and will arrange a time for you to pick up your pet.
- For picking up food or medications: When you arrive at our office to pick up food or medication, please remain in your vehicle and call our front desk. A staff member will deliver your items to your vehicle.
- Payment: We will take payment in the exam rooms or at your vehicle to help maintain social distancing within the hospital.
If you are experiencing any cold or flu symptoms or may have been exposed to COVID-19, please contact us to reschedule your appointment for a later date. If your pet is ill, we ask that a healthy friend or family member transport your pet to the hospital on your behalf.
If you have any questions regarding our policy, please call us or send us an email at [email protected]. We appreciate your patience and understanding during this time.
Sincerely,
The Forgotten Coast Animal Hospital Team
